Aerial view of the campus

The IRC facilities are located since 2003 in the Technology Park, also known as Flanders Biotech Valley, at the outskirts of Ghent. Besides the IRC and the VIB department of Plant Systems Biology, the campus is host to several biotech companies including ActoGenix (an IRC spin-off), Ablynx, Bayer BioScience, CropDesign, Devgen and Pronota. Starting companies are housed in the VIB bio-incubator buildings.
There is a dedicated management association for this campus: http://www.ardoyen.be/
